Do you know how much they run ? Tried to get the bearing off and remove the pinion gear pin and pinion but it was so corroded that it would budge even after soaking it for a few hours, tapped out the pin with a brass hammer when the Alan Tani pliers wouldn't work was a little rough with this one. I think I bent the spool shaft ever so slightly (I cant tell by sinning it or rolling it on a flat surface) just won't spin smooth and the first reel I did went so nice . so I swapped the spool from the other reel and it works so my guess is the spool shaft . Alan have you ever had this problem and ruined a spool ?
