Title: Does anybody know what model Ocean City this is?
Post by: 1badf350 on January 29, 2018, 08:43:16 PM
It has no name or model number. Just a medalion that says ocean city and 400 on bottom of stand. It came on an early little Tycoon rod if that helps narrow things down.
Than you ahead of time

Doesn't appear to match any of the OCs in Karl White's collectible reels book.

It looks like it might be a variation of the Ike Walton quick takeapart series.

It is a 1939 Ocean City, Model # 114.

Here is the catalog page from the 1939 catalog.

The 114 has a little different setup where the handle is attached, but that could've happened via repair or damage over the years.
