Hi Tony,

Recently the post 1990 Seaboys have caught my attention, and I notice that both the 185 and 190 come labeled in either "3.1:1 gear ratio" or "3.5:1." The lower gear ratio is seen on the white-labeled reels, and the higher ratio on the gold-labeled ones.

Can you give details about the main and pinion part numbers used for the higher ratio?

I will look into it when I have time, the ratio changed to the lower speed in 1999/2000 time frame.
