Title: Last ride of the OC Olympic.
Post by: thorhammer on February 07, 2018, 01:59:59 AM
Had this one in parts in a bag for fifteen years. Head plate cracked. Parts gone.  A five dollar yard saler.  Decided to see what could be done. Epoxied plate.  Vinegar sisking warped spool left tin foil mil thickness I shattered. Tweaked back best possible and filled back side of bell with epoxy in a dam. Missing head bearing. Made a handle nut. It moved enough to get 200yds vintage nylon on it but it's a one way trip to the shelf now.
