Here is a little video from last year fishing with friends that was lost in my files. I,m posting it for the folks to watch some chaos and dissapointment of a little action we had in a short amount of time. Ive learned some things in hindsite. The fish was very large, and hopefully waiting for me somewhere out there in the gulf. ;) See what you think.

Gary,
So what happened? Was it lost due to the motor, or from the other line? That was quite the bend in that rod😁
Brett
Thanks for asking, the fish stayed under the boat and changed directions several times. I should have gotten away from the anchor rope, tossed the body and gotten ore and better options. Butt I was betting she would be able to swim more favorably than what happened. The fish rubbed the line on the back of the boat as it has pulling and going out the other side where it came from.
Hindsight. Had I gotten rid of the anchor and drifted with the fish 🐟 the boat would have moved around towards the fish as it would have pulled the stern more favorably. Also I could have used the motor to move the boat. Butt I made the decision to fight the fish right there, and had to swallow the bitter pill. 🤦♀️🙋♂️
On the other hand you coulda stayed home. Losing a fish happens. Though fishing is better than staying home. Dominick
I wish i could fish in those calm seas every time. Our gulf seas are always chopped up. Ill get to Alaska one day. I'm sure my wheelchair will fit just fine :D
Tough beans butt we learn from every trip.....and considering what you put in the boat Gary, not much left for you to learn ;)....Bill
I,m still learning. every day is a new day. Be happy when you get one more chance. Thanks for watching. ;)
Bad luck Gary, every days a good day, when your on the water, and I see, you win more days than most of us, cheers Don.
