Title: Handle spindles?
Post by: Swami805 on May 02, 2018, 02:59:27 PM
I'm wondering if anyone knows a source for spindles for handles. I have the arms and some knobs i'd Like to use but no source for the spindles to attach them with. Thanks sheridan

A machine shop would need to measure the hole in your knob. There is no universal size for the bushing inside the knob, so finding a correct shaft for your knob may be a pipe dream. I bet a machine shop could make you a few for about $20 each.

The shaft on my knob assembly is by far the most expensive component

A boy can dream Ted, They put a man on the moon but I guess they had the budget of NASA too. I have some Newell knobs but the hardware doesn't come off of the blade. I can drill or shim the knob no sweat. Oh Well the dream continues, if I find something I'll post it.
Thanks
