Post by: RWS on July 31, 2011, 01:48:20 PM
Do I want Chlorinated or Non ????????  and Y ?????
Also is it safe for plastic ???????
Carb Clearner will eat some plastic like Shimano 400 Calutta spool release button, I can't beleive Shimano would use a plastic like that.

I've been using the non-chlorinated in the spray can since I started and it works fine. It takes all of the crud off. I figure it's one less chemical that needs to break down and the fumes are bad enough anyway. :P  And yes, use it with caution on plastic, seems okay on graphite and bakelite though. Strips paint, too! :-\  Wear eye protection.

CRC QD Eletronic Cleaner. Works every bit as well and is safer. Doesn't harm plastic.
