   Love this reel! One question though...how did you get the spool down to the brass? Wasn't that a chromed spool?

Sanded and polished, then clear coated with a Duplicolor auto paint product.

Only thing I did on the "innards" is the Smooth Drag 5+1 drag upgrade.  Had a steel main gear.
