OK. I don't know if someone slid me a stupid pill or I'm losing it in my old age but why can't I find schematics on Okuma and Shimano web sites anymore?
someone slid Shimano a stupid pill -- even the word "schematic" seems to have disappeared from their sites:
you can only get current schematics by going to the model & clicking "MANUAL"
does NOT work on fish.shimano.com (yet?)
works on fish.shimano-eu.com
For Okuma reels (current) go to the Reel Product in question e.g. Okuma Andros and select Downloads - this will give you a choice of which model - then simply download the PDF manual/schematic.

For older reels try one of the many sites offering schematics e.g.
