I've seen a couple of these and tested around 20-25lbs pretty comfortably.
(PS I've never fished one, just fixed 'em...)

thanks george s thats what i was scared of.my friend just paid over $700aud reel+50lb t-curve.its not just the bush fires trying to burn us

you know, i and seriously NOT comfortable with the direction that daiwa is going with their new reels.
