As described. It's been a while since I posted a build; I've been buried in some cabin renovations, work travel, and holidays for some months. I have been quietly acquiring parts for this build for over a year and here she is...SS sleeve and dog, carbontex / SS stack, steel gearing, Tib T-Bar handle - very meaty.
This build went together like a ten piece lego kit in about 30 minutes, and I was taking my time on full lube treatment, AND I had to disassemble the otherwise stock donor reel where the goodies were stored waiting Tom's plates. Fit and finish is his best yet, IMO- counter sunk screw wells on the flange, matching gear shift, and machined SS lugs which are really nice- radius'd, polished and they fit like a glove in their own dedicated well- NOT in a milled open slot on the flange. First class all the way! A magnificent beast.
Spooled with 300yds of 100 lb PP and top-shot with 80lb Ande, though I think this reel will get bumped to 130-130 when I add the second dog. I'm pretty sure I would break me before I could break this reel.
Thanks Tom!

John, very nice! I've got a similar project in mind, my plates should be on the way.
Sid
Mods, please right the ship. Thank you.
Sid I saw you what you are doing-NICE! I bought the handle in mid-2017 before Sal got going!!!
dont liked it broda', that color combination is ugly
you already have my address, send it my way and I can bury it in the backyard for you or I can use it as 2lb weight at the end of the line when fishing for lincods ;) ;)
Awesome, John, ready for battle!
Nice reel John! That handle goes really nice, it is overkill on the 4/0, but perfect for the 9/0.
Enjoy it!
Sal
Looking Good John.
My two sets came today. Silver and Black.
As good as your combo looks. I'm keeping them color coordinated.
It will match 114H full accurate conversion that I have.
These plates are off the charts!
Thank You Tom!
