Title: Clicker for Avet MC MXL
Post by: way2slickrick on October 04, 2011, 02:51:31 AM
Is there anyway to make the clicker louder? Or is it because I'm used to my old Penn clickers?

Thanks Alan, as far as replacing the part you specified, my reel is brand new, do you still recommend changing out the part? If so, do you happen to know with what part number I should replace it with? Thanks, Rick.

here is the closest schematic i could find.  http://www.avetreels.net/uploads/MXL_5.8.pdf  the collar i was talking about is 66 - Clicker Housing MXL 5.8:1-066.  it is really the only thing that might work.  i guess you could replace the springs, 68 - Clicker Arm Springs (2 req.) MXL 5.8:1-068, but they are virtually never a problem.
