Post by: SCFishing on April 05, 2019, 11:55:06 PM
Hello all.

This is my first post. I lurked around for awhile and saw all the awesome parts everyone was making so I bought a bunch of parts and built two reels for my wife /loaners . Hope everyone enjoys.

Penn 501 frame
China Stainless yoke and bridge
5:1 stainless gear
Stainless  gear sleeve modded to take a full size washer behind gear.
5 stack with a full size plus 1. So 6 full size drag washers.
Penn 505 side plate with Stainless bearing
Bait clicker delete but wasn't a option was missing.
Extended handle made from two stock Jigmaster handles.
Phillips head screws machined down head to fit factoryish. 316 stainless
Cost lost count it's a beater 😬
Going to fish 20-30lbs mono top shots
Maybe try strait 50braid but read hoar story's

Penn 500 tib frame
China stainless yoke and bridge
4:1 steel gear from E bayz.   stock pinion gear
Stainless gear sleeve stock.
5 stack with Delrin washer under main gear
Handle is a penn 24-56
Put the longer stock screws in the base of the tib frame so all screws are same length.
Cost lost count again but this one is clean.
Going to fish 30-40mono top shots.
