Title: xtreme reel+ and other lubes
Post by: daddyhoit on October 21, 2011, 12:22:20 AM
Can you mix xtreme reel+ and other types of lube? It seems it would be benificial if after one lube disintagrated another would still be ther.

you could, but the mixture would be as slow as the slowest product you added to the mix, in this case the other lube.

I've done it before with another teflon containing oil. I found xtreme reel+ is great but dries very fast (as it's supposed to) It leaves teflon behind which will rub off over time. So I added another heavier oil also with teflon. I guess this would leave more teflon and a bit of oil.

I think xtreme reel+ may have a de-greasing component so I wouldn't add xtreme reel+ after oiling, only pre-oiling.
