Title: Daiwa Saltist 6500H "Handle Screw"
Post by: cidags on February 28, 2020, 04:07:17 AM
Hi there,
I recently bought a used Saltist 6500H, it is in good used condition though needed a little TLC so I set off to get carbontex drag washers and line roller bearings as well as Cal's grease and CorrosionXHD and then pulled the reel down, cleaned greased and re-assembled, now I notice which I failed to look at before pulling the reel down that the "Handle Screw" looks to sit out off the housing when done up, I've looked a photos online and I can't seem to find anything that looks like it. Also I have fitted handle both left and right with the same appearance, I am thinking maybe the "Handle Screw" is off a different reel but have no idea honestly! and hoping some one here may be able to shed some light.
Any help welcomed.

it might not be a problem at all.  as long as it works, i would not worry.   :-\

Alan is correct - I think it's normal, well I hope it's normal anyway - mine's the same  :)
