Title: TSI 321 ...
Post by: basenjib123 on April 13, 2020, 02:34:53 AM
Just wondering if anyone has or is using 321 on older spinning reel pinion bearings instead of grease, etc.?  Thanks, Joe.

I've been putting TSI-321 on all my 1st & 2nd generation Penn Spinfisher bearings and it works fine. It was terrible on a Mitchel 308 --that bearing worked much better packed with grease.

I use it on all my spinners, conventionals, fly reels, pliers, cutters, guns - I basically use it on everything even if it doesn't move :D

If you are going to cast with the reel,  I think TS321 would be fine on a pinion bearing.

I just used it on 0000 steel wool to treat the barrel on my 1950 something shotgun.  The gun hasn't looked that good since I used it in Nebraska some time around 1979.
