Title: Penn 10 vs Penn 10 Mag
Post by: Brandon G on April 22, 2020, 03:47:55 PM
Hello,

I purchased this Penn 10 yesterday and was curious if it is different than the Penn 10 Mag, or if they are one in the same.

I swear I saw a post about this, but I cannot find it via search, so I apologize if this has been covered.

It needs some good ol' loving but I believe it already came with Ht100s so if they are in good condition, I am going to leave it as is.

Thank you in advance.

Every Penn 10 that I've opened up had the magnet on the bridge making it a Mag 10.
You can easily see the magnet on the spool side of the bridge if you take the head plate off.

I believe all 10's are magged, but have yet to see a 210 with the magnet on the bridge.

Thank you! I was just trying to make sure I was looking at the right parts list. Penn dropped the ball with advertising Mag on the reel. LOL
