Aloha:
Thank you Mark for all the Wood Turning that you did for me. I have sent Tim E. on the Star some of my IZBIT's and just got off the phone with him. To all here the cedar plug versions in this post are ready for sale. I have 7 of each size, a few of each are off to Cabo for tournaments, a few are in my line up here in Hawaii.
IZBITS were developed in the late 80's early 90's on the sport fleet in San Diego. I was working the boats and on the Q105 at the time and time for a lure head that gets bit when nothing else will. Hence the IZBIT. They went out of production in the 90's due to shop closure. I moved to Hawaii and started to get bit on them. So I put them back in production. Have 2 patent pending and 3 trademarks working on them. These plugs that Mark made are for sale.
Jumbo 9": $50.00 per plug. 8.7oz. yes alot but custom head and custom wood work
Large 7": $42.00 per plug. 2.7oz.
medium 6": $27.00 per plug. 1.7oz.
Small in Brass 4": $17.00 per plug 1.45oz.
I have the lure heads and skirted heads for sale. i am working on my own post for those but if want the biggest smoke trail out there and the craziest action on a trolling lure. Send me an e-mail.

Hello,
medium 6": $27.00 per plug. 1.7oz.
What colours available?
Interested to know how the cedar plug style does in HI. They kinda have their own style of lures and lure trolling as we all know.
also are those skirted lures going to mainland clients or to fish locally?
What species of Tuna is in the picture?
Do you sell the heads?
I'm a wood Turner as well, made tons of pens and stuff but never any plugs.

@Gfish - yellowfin, it does look fairly chunky in that photo but a bigeye, even at that size would be chunkier yet and have longer pectoral fins. Some of the material intended for observers on commercial vessels is worth a read.
Ok. The pointy anal & dorsal fins looked too short and not yellow enough... regional variations, I guess.
