Title: Diawa ST4070
Post by: Fltmedik80 on December 19, 2011, 02:52:15 PM
I have an Diawa ST 4070 and want to inspect it.  Before I break it down I was wondering if anyone has experience with the reel.  It is in great condition but the drag isn't smooth.  Any help would be greatly appreciated.

it looks like a top drag model.  pull the drag washers and measure them, then match them up against something in this list.  http://alantani.com/index.php?topic=21.0  or post the dimensions and i'll take a look.  the list was made up long ago in millimeters out of courtesy and respect for our european and asian collegues.

That's the 1, I took it apart and found that the oscillating slider was broken.  Just replaced it and serviced the reel but am having trouble getting the drag cam back in proper position.  Any ideas?
