Title: Penn 10 clicker replacement
Post by: retiredandfishing on September 25, 2020, 02:35:51 PM
I have a very nice Penn 10 that was given to me.  Had a clicker problem so I took the old one off.  Had to peen the clicker tongue on.   I think I may have bent the clicker button post slightly when I peened it on as it is very hard to push back up into the off position, except if you get your finger nail under the lip.  Then it comes back off easily.

Was wondering if anyone knows of a replacement that would allow the use of a clip to secure the tongue, as on more modern Penn reels.

Thanks, Steve

Part # 36-60CH. Go to Mysticparts.com, Conventional Reels section, find the Mag tuned 10. They also sell the click tongue.
