Title: Daiwa Sealine SL 175H service

Performed a complete disassembly on this reel never worked on this model before pretty simple and straight out reel. My fishing buddy found it in the garbage,  I soaked it vinegar and water and it cleaned up nice. No bearings on this reel  :-\

if you find out down the line that the spool rubs on the frame, the cause will likely be worn bushings.  replace them at that point with bearings and you should be fine!!!!

thx alan!! I may just install bearings for the fun of it!! 8) have any idea what size i would need to make the conversion on this reel?

it will be in whole millimeters.  even a grade school ruler will give you an accurate enough measurement.  for a list of bearings, go here!

Still looks pretty decent for someone to toss it in a garbage dumpster.
