Title: 2 Penn Peerless - How old are they?

These came in the mail from a gentleman in GA, fresh water reels, he trolled with them.

How old are these?  The paddle handle one looks newer.

I dont have my books near me at the moment, closest I can get is post war.  I will dig into the books and try to get closer.....Bill

The 109 has the double knob because the handle spins backward.  The torpedo was most often (but not always) found on the #9.  The hue of the bakelite changed slowly over time.  I usually think of the reddish ones being later but the experts here can correct me.
