I have no idea but the extra $ is small in the big picture.

I think it would depend, if there's a bunch around eating the paint off the boat go with wire, if the area has had a lot of fishing pressure the stealth of floro might be worth the added risk of getting bit off. I think with jigs straight tie to the main line and skip the floro all together

i never use fluro for bombs or jigs, just straight mono to the wire.  i have caught wahoo with fluoro and circle hooks before, but only as a lucky happenstance!

I like the Capt Jimmy bombs. They are straight tie bombs without a leader.  I tie them to 130#+ fluoro.  Fluoro is tougher than mono and so far I've not been bit off.
For jigs I just tie to my 50-60# mono, never use fluoro with yoyo.

Thanks, Gents, very helpful!   ;)

Hey Mark, I've got a bunch of Captain Jimmy bombs that I never used (yet). What are your preferred color combos?   ???

BTW, when does your next EXCEL 10-day leave? If November 4th, you'll get back the same morning I leave on my ROYAL STAR 11-day...maybe I'll see you unload your catch!   :D
