Title: Calcutta 200/250 - Extra Parts ?
Post by: jeffro22 on December 03, 2020, 12:55:02 AM
Just finished up servicing several of my Calcutta's .  I am finished and everything is put back together and I just noticed i have an extra screw!  Cant figure out where it goes or even which reel it belongs too.  everything seems to be working fine.   all the reels were similar on the inside but slightly different models.  I had a 200xt, 250, 200

it looks like one of the side plate screws but is a little longer -  I worked on a 200XT, 250 and 200B .  anyone know where might have pulled this screw from?

It has to be a P/N 191, right?  Two per reel.

... unless it jumped up out of the carpet.  :)

thanks

looks the same but is a little longer than the 191 screw.  all my reels have 2 screws installed on the side plate.  I guess its possible this screw came from somewhere else but it look like it goes to the reel (same style head , size and threads)

Late to the party, but...
Pull the spools on your Calcs and check that you still have two screws in the non drive side sideplate.  The lower securing screw on the cover is longer than the upper IIRC.
