The reel itself looks good... just throw the idiocy in the trash, get a new handle from Fred, and Bob's your uncle!   :D

Here's the thing. As absolutely ridiculous as that looks, and it does look ridiculous; I'll bet its probably an experience improvement for someone with bad wrist arthritis.

 ??? ???  The handle at present location is for fast wind up , turn the secondary handle 180 degrees for power handle !

I guess folks get grouchy this time of year.

How about a spinner with a double handle?  Make the blade longer on one side for power and short on the other side for speed.
