Has anybody tried this stuff? It looks pretty good and the reviews I've read are rather glowing. Unfortunately, couldn't find any reviews from anybody that runs a reel shop, but it seems to work well for automotive uses. I might buy a gallon and test it out on some junk reels I have lying around just to see what it does.

Everything I read about it is Great Except I do not see anything regarding plastic /rubberized parts reaction.
I am definitely gonna try some of it .
Here is the Safety Data Sheet on it

I've read mixed reaction on how it behaves with plastic. Some use it full strength, some dilute. It will strip paint as well, but I would use it for metal parts more than anything. I still do reel frame the old fashioned way, some Dawn, hot water, a little elbow grease, and a good blow dry.
Yes it does work , not as fast as a petroleum base de-greaser .

How is it compared to Simple Green? That's what I'm using now.
Worth the side by side test , Simple green may work faster , but is harder on the skin ...
