Title: Mag seal

I was wondering if anyone has had any problems with the mag seal system on their Daiwa reels ,namely the new model Certates?

Are you referring to the ferrofluid seal? I've only stumbled across the Saltiga review by Alan Hawk, where he found that the mag seal had found its way into the one-way roller clutch. He reported that it didn't cause any immediate problems, but he was not comfortable with a roller clutch "lubricated" with an oil with magnetic iron particles suspended in it.
The second issue (I guess) is to acquire this stuff, if you plan on doing a rebuild on you own.
