Title: Triton Mark I/II cast control bushing size for replacement bearing?
Post by: Bobber21 on March 15, 2021, 10:29:24 PM
As in the title...I just picked up a Mark I that was rode hard but not put away wet, she'll never be pretty on the outside again but I'm gonna give her that heart of gold on the inside and put her back to work.
Also the frame and right side plate are a very light champagne gold, not the standard Triton/Tiagra/Calcutta gold. But the spool and handle on this Mk I are the current gold. Was this a very early reel???

I thought perhaps as much until I opened it up, the inside of the frame and side plate are the identical shade of champagne gold as the outside.
A mystery to be solved!
