Trying to fix an old Cardinal 52 for this sweet lady and cant find parts...Anyone on this board happen to have any of these reels buried in the junk pile ? The suspect part is 12212  ...Thanx

A Cardinal 52 or 152 hardly ever makes it to a junk pile. They are way too sought after.  ;)

Although, 12212 is the brass gear. If so, there's a used one on eBay (https://www.ebay.ca/itm/353352020365?hash=item52456bf18d:g:FDgAAOSw9Flf~rLX)

If you mean Part #12175 (https://www.ereplacementparts.com/line-pick-ejtc52-p-1485662.html) They're a really tough find. If you have the original and a friend with a 3D printer you may be able to have one made.

Otherwise you might contact Les Shaw @ Classic Vintage Tackle in the UK (https://www.classicvintagefishingtackle.com/). Sometimes he can come up with difficult to find ABU Cardinal Parts.
