Friends:

I have come into a Shimano Speedmaster IV. Looks like a nice reel about the size of a 500. Topless. 6:1 retrieve.

I need to replace the pinion gear. It had frozen onto the spool spindle. And although I managed to free it. mangled the teeth in the process.

Problem is I'm a Penn guy and have absolutely no clue where to get Shimano parts. Went to the Shimano website and they don't even list the reel in question. I'll guess its from about the 80's or 90's.

Where does a fella find such a part?
