Usually I'm on the receiving end for information. So now, let me hit turn it around a little. I found some spray penetrating lubricant, called Kimball Midwest Torq CB Blaster.

So what's so great? I am a long time fan of Aerokroil as a penetrating oil, but I think this outperforms Kroil. My kid moved down from Vermont to PA. Vermont roads are salt-encrusted 8 mos a year. His brake rotors were never off. We sprayed the axle with the torq blaster, light taps all around the rotors for a few minutes, and off they came. Cuts through corrosion well, and I am going to use it on all my salt water reels. I also used it on a remote control for an air conditioner. The batteries were leaking out all over the contacts in the remote. The Kimball stuff cut through that green crud and got the unit working again. I like this product a lot. BTW, I have NO financial interest in Kimball Midwest. Of course you're always welcome to send me some fine German pilsner as a show of your appreciation.
Thanks for sharing this. It must be good stuff if it works better than Kroil? How does it smell? I love Kroil but I'm not too fond of the smell at the end of a long day.

It actually smells very tolerable, almost has a sweet smell. It also has some kind of certification that it's acceptable to use on appliances or machinery used in the production of food. Next, I'm going to try it on my .45 after the next trip to the range. See if it works any better than my old stand by ATF and carb cleaner.
I find ATF acetone, 50/50 works very good. specially if you can soak the part in it. cheers Don.

Maybe they don't sell overseas, or maybe the chemical is barred from import.

Check out the SDS under the documentation tab. Mostly dichloromethane (AKA Methylene chloride). So an organic solvent. Outlawed for use in paint remover in the USA recently, but still allowed for other uses. Maybe it is allowed on some food processing machinery because of a lack of toxic residue after evaporating. But that is not going to help your lungs if you are breathing it in while spraying the stuff.
This was the stuff that was killing off bathtub refinishers for awhile. Spraying a few reel parts outdoors is a tiny fraction of that exposure level, but it is probably a good idea to read up on the SDS and use according to the guidelines. We all get to make our own own risk/reward assessment. Ventilation is your friend. If the scent of a solvent product is a concern, you probably want to consider more ventilation.
Not a chemist myself. Just learned enough to know that there are lots of chemical products out there that are not too hard to buy, but are actually pretty dangerous if not used properly.

Some ip Ranges are locked out on many U.S. websites because of Security Reasons . Yours may fall in one of those ranges .
I've limited myself to PB blaster, but I mostly use it via an eye dropper or as a bath soak. Smells so bad it's gotta be toxic and I won't spray it if possible.

I thought perhaps trying to save Bandwidth as people outside would probably very seldom purchase something.
Where I live is often seen as a "security risk".
At the risk of being told this is politics, I also tried to connect from an EU site, no problem, so I call it discrimination, but then it's an illusion that this type of thing does not happen.
