Can anyone tell me what the difference is between a standard C3 and the SSC C3 Is ? Thanks
Just the color scheme. Mechanically, it's identical to the C3 reels produced during the same period. Most 'special' edition Ambassadeurs made since Pure Fishing assumed control of operations in 2000 are typically just color changes. Where the true differences lie is in the C nomenclature and what follows it. C3, C4, C5, and CS. C3/4/5 denote the number of ball bearings, and CS is the sports model with a palm side tension cap.
