Title: Fenwick Pacificstik Fenglass
Post by: Mjg378 on July 14, 2022, 10:30:21 PM
So with all the knowledge on this board I'm hoping someone could give me insight into this model.  I picked it up on fleabay. It was listed estimated at 20 to 50 lbs. The line rating is scratched off And the model number is not all there.   It's 6'6" in really nice shape.
It will be used as a family boat rod with a nice old Penn 3/0 when we go to the Gulf  :fish
Compared to my other rods, It seems to me more like 15-40lbs    Any info on this model would be appreciated!

Thank you,
Thank you very much,
Mike

if you're used to older glass, trust your feel over "mystery fleaBay guesstimate"
if you're not used to it, glass feel & slower action may SEEM like lower power -- it's NOT!

Kind of a late response, but I have 2 early Pacificstiks.... One is a 6'6" and looks similar to yours..
It is a model # 1665HC.... It is rated at 30-80#'  2-8oz(I think).  I have a 5'6" with about the same ratings. I got some of the smaller rods info of a Fenwick Catalog that I saw on line... Can't seem to find it now.
