Title: Daiwa BGMQ sideplate tool info
Post by: jlnel on July 30, 2022, 04:12:27 PM
Ok.. have a bg mq 4000 and need the tool to remove sideplate.

Heard Daiwa won't sell.. any aftermarket ones available?

I am sure i will have to make something... not really going to promote these reels if company isn't going to offer support.

Thanks!

Yeah you're honestly better off just buying a regular BG and with the money you saved buy a 2nd one if you cant service it.

And ironically I'm putting my money where my mouth is because my BG got a salt dunk this morning so it'll be getting a scrub down tonight.

It is a customer's reel. I generally don't get many Daiwa reels, but made the tool needed so all set there.
