Title: Parts for Reelsking reels
Post by: retiredandfishing on August 06, 2022, 09:09:32 PM
I know this is a long shot but thought I would ask anyway. Have a Reelsking TA5000 in the shop.  A cheap Chinese reel.  I can find no indication of a parts network for this brand and when the customer brought it in I let him know that this might be the case.  I'm looking for an idler gear for it. Hoping someone here might have an idea as to where I could get parts for Reelsking reels.

Thanks, Steve

I loathe FAKEBOOK BUT

You MIGHT try this guy and or post pix and dimensions of the gear here and  you never know . May be another Reel part will interchange.

They could buy another one, then they'll have the old one as a donor for spares. When they both eventually die, you might have two good handle grips. Assuming you're charging for your time to work on them I suspect they're not likely economically feasible to repair.

I'd more likely chalk it up as a learning experience for the customer and advise them to buy something with parts and service support next time :)
