Title: BC Longfin
Post by: Hardy Boy on September 17, 2022, 11:42:58 PM
Well let's add another albacore report. We don't have the live bait like Washington so we troll. Got a calll to go with a few guys last Wednesday.  24 mile out the inlet and then 28 miles off shore. 30 foot pursuit so it was nice. 8 in the first hour then a lull then a mid day flurry and a few at 3 pm. Pulled the plug with 24. Average was a weighed 16 lb. One weighed in at 31.5 lbs. Good fun and great weather. Mist on the rods but a few on hand lines and dive boards.

Cheers

Todd

Nice Fish!

All ours are on the troll as well.

We have a jig rod set up if they swarm the boat but that's few and far between.

You guys up north need to let a few slip through for us Kalifornia guys!  ;D  :d

Nice job by you canukians. I did albacore on a big Pursuit in questionable conditions and it didn't stop us from getting 24. Love the big heavy Pursuit. Wish I had the $$$
