Title: Daiwa RS 1300
Post by: lego4040 on October 27, 2022, 08:25:42 PM
I picked up a pair of reels, a Mitchell 308 and Daiwa Rs 1300. The 308 I completely broke down and got running great, will re check again. The Daiwa needs more work though. I'm missing the pawl spring and so far no luck. Part #B58-2401 is it as well as some worn out melted rubber grommet? The robber doesn't show on schematics, hmmm. I've done a couple of rebuilds so I'm still new to this. I'll make my own spring if needed
Any help is well appreciated

quite possibly VERY LIKELY "some worn out melted rubber grommet" IS/WAS the spring:

Thanks for the link, same thing happened with my rubber spring as in that link. I'll keep an eye out and maybe make a work around spring, I grew up with clicking reels so noise won't be a issue
