how does that thing work? pic. on MT site shows exactly what i have, but why no HT-100;
there are two HT-100's just like schematic shows.
when do y'all replace HT-100's? the ones in this used reel i'm cleaning have grease
on one side, look clean on the other & don't show any real signs of distress.

unless they are severely worn down, carbon fiber drag washers rarely need replacing. even salted in, they can often be scraped clean, greased and re-installed. of course, most of us would just replace them if they look sketchy at all.
if you have two ht-100's and one teflon washer, just switch out the teflon to all carbon fiber and grease then. they work the best.
