Title: Set plate A/P pin repair
Post by: Christopher M Songer on November 30, 2022, 12:14:36 PM
Daiwa Millionaire set plate has a bent pin that holds the A/R claw. I was able to get it straightened but anticipated it would not hold and it doesn't.  The pin stays in the plate but still wobbles and the A/R claw pulls away and disengages. I cannot find a replacement set plate. Thinking of cleaning the living daylights out of it and trying to epoxy it. Open to suggestions as I may only have one shot. 20221129_135611[1].jpg

a pin punch from the backside will be needed to flare the back of the post so that it doesn't pull out.
