E-Clip - are you referring to the clicker side of the spool?  If so, I find that the e-clip goes on easier by flipping the clicker gear.  One direction is easier than the other.  It will not make a difference to the clicker pawl coming in contact with the clicker gear.

Anti-Reverse Bearing Housing - I find a deep socket that just fits in the opening that houses the AR bearing.  I lubricate the outer edges of the bearing housing and let it sit for a few minutes.  Place the side plate on a flat, solid surface.  Place the deep socket on the AR Bearing housing.  With a dead blow hammer (because that is what I have), I tap the socket until the AR Bearing housing drops out.

A 10mm will fit the ar bearing. If it will move with the guts out.

The clip for the main shaft has a washer that goes on first them the clip. It will only go on one way
