Does anyone know if this is possible on the above mod?

I had a look at this and came to the conclusion that it was possible. Precision drill two holes in Bridge plate and fit two brass pins to accommodate the extra dog and spring. I did not think it worth the effort as the reel is strong enough for anything I am likely to catch.
Would be a nice little project for someone with time on his hands.

Love the 505HS & how loud the clicker is. Sometime back a boat not wanting to go through the boat channel/cut cut through and got the the line to peeled. I thought I has a Wahoo at the other end. Love these reels. Parts have been replaced...

Pick up a bridge from Randy. The holes are already there
