I am finding it difficult ( so far impossible) to obtain a Makaira 16ii SEA eared drag washer and the four screws that hold on the clicker pawl and waterproof cover.
Can anyone help.
I own 8 Makairas fro 15t to 50ii SEA
And I can see parts in the UK being a big issue

i could order from the usa division and then ship to you, but the costs for postage alone would be horrific.

I have given him part numbers and he is trying to see if they are available. I should know where I am on this in the next 24 hours

It is awful when you can not obtain a spare part for a perfectly good reel.

Normark/Rapala Customer services have sent me an email today saying that they have ordered the parts I need from the "European Hub" but it could be a couple of weeks before I get the parts. I can live with that so hopefully I will be a happy man.

Sounds good. If the reels are sold where you are then parts to support them should be as well.

Then I bought from them twice, third time I was told "sorry we only sell to people in the UK" those were Shimano parts. >:D >:D
Do you by any chance have an address or email of the technical assistance center for Okuma reels in Europe?
Just I a final note on this.
Normark/Rapala/ Okuma sent me the parts as soon as they had them then phoned me for card payment a few days after I confirmed I had recueved them.
Excellent service and communication from them
