now, the flat shim washers are helpful. for the extra belleville, i'm finding that the drag profile is a little too steep. the stock configuration of "(())" will already give you 15 pounds of drag at strike and an easy 25 pounds a full. 25 pounds of drag is already more than i would recommend for this reel, but is it likely ok for a short period of time.
as far as other upgrades go, a carbontex drag is very important. the handle upgrade will totally transform your reel. whatever i can tempt you with, just let me know. thanks! alan
