Title: Assembling Silent Dog and Ratchet Penn Spinfisher
Post by: hotajax on May 11, 2023, 06:39:38 PM
Does the silent dog ( the one with NO spring ) need to have the arms on the dog in contact with the ratchet?  Or can there be a little clearance between the arms and the ratchet?  If I need to state this a different way, let me know.  I understand it is good to put a little oil between the silent dog and the ratchet, so I"m guessing they have to be in contact.  Thanks.

They have to be in tight contact. It should be pinching on. Also I apparently have a whole bag of these.
