My favorite party boat still had a few spots open and weather forecast was 10mph or less for 3 strait days, so off I went. Lots of fun and lots of fish.
FYI, Westport is on the south coast of Washington state. No touristy stuff, or yuppie housing developments. Just a pure fishing town. Commercial & reacreational fishing. A few dozen party boats and a few hundred private boats. It's a fisherman's Shangrila !!
Gee Ted that catch looks great, how many fisho`s on the boat, thanks for posting, cheers Don.
Congratulations on a great trip Ted!
Way to do it Ted! - john
I'll be taking a crack at Pacific Halibut a bit south off you, Cresent City Ca.
That's if the winds ever die down.
How deep were you fishing for the Halibut?
Nice Haul!
For butts we fished 700', and for lings it was 550'. My weapon of choice was a 113h loaded with 80# spectra on a Shimano Talavera TEC60H
Man that was a catching trip, not a fishing trip! Bill
