Title: TEK 500 LC washers
Post by: retiredandfishing on June 13, 2023, 12:21:11 AM
On the TEK's there are very small washers on top of the posts the yoke slides up and down on.  They are spacers to keep the side plate from binding.  I have a TEK in the shop that does not have any and it does bind very slightly.  I cannot find any part number listed for them nor does the schematic even show them.  Wondering if anyone might have some to sell or know where I can get them.

Thanks, Steve

Here's a picture.  See the post without the spring, how it is notched at the top. That is where the shim fits..

Thanks, Steve

Found something that will do the job. Think I'll call Shimano and see if it's one of the factory shims I can get them to send me.
