Can someone here provide some history or information on this reel.

Those pictures of that particular reel have been periodically surfacing on eBay for a few years now. It's always a different seller with a large amount of feedback, always being sold from a pawnshop somewhere. I believe that actual reel sold years ago to a private collector but I don't know who.
