I was looking for JS rods to develop inshore rods for the US and I think I found one. I used light JS 7'6" S762MH rod for squid last night. The depth was 80' and I had to use heavy 8 - 12 oz sinker as wind was stiff.I could feel delicate squid bites. The rod is very light and tip is pretty soft. It reminds me of Black Hole 7'3" Challenger Bank 731 M with softer trip.
I will test the rod for fluke and big striper soon,
If I like it, I plan to develop high-end JS inshore rods based on the 7'6" rod.
We used JS graphene jigging rod for bluefin using live squid, but we didn't have luck. A boat nearby landed tuna.
