CUSTOM HANDLE KNOB FOR SHIMANO TALICA REEL
By Maxel fishing.

I'm afraid I've fallen in love with this solution proposed by Maxel to put the T-bar on my Talica 16 single speed.
Do you have any feedback or advice for this upgrade I would like to make?

But that's not an okuma!

Jokes aside I'm always hesitant about the big holes they put in these handles for fashion and weight reduction when they end up so close to the handle nut (or that could be other length-option holes, but the effect is the same). I'm not saying it's gonna fail. But to me it looks like if it will fail, that would be the spot.

This opinion isn't limited to this specific handle for this specific reel. But this may be the first time I've voiced that opinion. I tend to gravitate to solid blades or ones with the holes a bit more conservatively placed. But that's just me and you did ask for opinions.
