Just came aboard and want to say hello from south-side Virginia. I grew up in Rhode Island and lived in New England for most of my life and have done a fair amount of fishing, both fresh water and salt water. (I'm well into my seventies.) I particularly like surfcasting, but I also like to fly fish, which I haven't done for awhile. Hoping to get back to fishing in general. I should mention that I'm somewhat adicted to fishing equipment, especially reels!
Welcome aboard, Gerry!
Best, Fred

Here's a list: Penn Surfmaster 200 (Given to me by my uncle when I was about 12 yaers old. Price on the box is $18.25), Penn 350 Levelwind , Penn Super Mariner 49, Penn Peer 209 (just got these 3 to refurbish), Abu Garcia CD3000, Shimano Torium TOR16, Shimano Ax400s, Silstar Baitfeeder RXB80, Lamson DCA-3, Okuma Integrity 8/9, Okuma Sierra S5-6, Olympic Spark-3200 (bought this in Hawaii about 46 years ago), Quantum Hypercast HC3.
Quite a mix, but I've been collecting for many, many years!
Gerry, maybe double check the price on the surfmaster box. The surfmaster 200 was introduced in 1940 for $10.00

I stand corrected; Price on the box looks like $8.25, but on closer inspection (I put my readers on) it looks as though there may be a "1" in front of the 8, so $18.25, but still... (I have a picture but don't know how to add it to the post.)

Welcome Gerry! Also great to get another fly fisher onboard.
To add one or more photos to the end of your post, just use the "ADD FILES" button that is right next to the "POST" button you used to post your message. This will pop up a menu that will let you add photos.
There are fancier gallery based photo options that allow you to put photos between blocks of text, but we can save that for another day.

I'll give that a try!
Mr J there is know time like the present, when it comes to posting pictures,I am interested, as every time I tried to do it, my windows 10 just doe not follow the com, cheers Don, thats why I use Wayne & mike to post pictures for me. but I dont like asking them.
I can't post pics from my cell phone cause to many megabytes, but if I send a pic to someone, and then save that sent picture to "my gallery" then I can post that pic. This pic was 7.72mb, but after sending to someone, then saving that sent pic to my gallery, it is now 295kb and can now post that pic from my phone
There is a free download, Chasys Draw IES, that allows you to downsize and change formats of pictures (webp to jpg, etc). I downsize all photos to 640x480 for posting. That seems to work on most sites.
